Henley shared his sentiments with CBS Sunday Morning, stating, "I think this year will probably be it. I’ve said things like that before, but I feel like we’re getting toward the end. And that will be fine, too. And I am OK with that." It seems the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees are ready to embrace a new chapter.
The newly announced dates are set for April 10th and April 11th at the spectacular Sphere in Las Vegas. This isn't the first time the band has hinted at their winding down. Their current tour has been aptly named "A Long Goodbye," a nod to their previous hiatus in 1980 and their successful reunion in 1994. They've remained a potent force in music for over two decades since.
Beyond the stage, Henley expressed a desire to reconnect with his family, which includes four children and a grandchild. He also dreams of dedicating more time to his passion for gardening and exploring the world without the relentless schedule of touring. "We see the airports and the hotel room and the venue, and we don’t get out much," Henley explained. "I’d like to go back to the places I’ve been and see more of those places before it all disappears. There’s just lots of other things to do."

Think "Hotel California," "Take It Easy," "Desperado," "Best of My Love," and "Take It to the Limit" – songs that have become the soundtrack to countless lives.
