An urgent search has been initiated for two young girls, aged 9 and 12, who mysteriously disappeared while playing on an e-scooter. This unsettling incident has captured the attention of the local community and police alike.
Staffordshire Police expressed their alarm regarding the situation, as Jade, who is just nine years old, and her 12-year-old friend Shania were last seen riding together on an e-scooter around 4 PM on Friday afternoon in Stoke-on-Trent. The authorities released a public plea for assistance in locating the girls, emphasizing their growing concern about their safety. Fortunately, it has been reported today that both Jade and Shania have been found safe.
A spokesperson from the police force had earlier stated, "We’re concerned about the whereabouts of two girls from Stoke-on-Trent, and we need your help in trying to find them. Jade and Shania are believed to be missing together. Both girls were last spotted in the Chell area while riding an e-scooter yesterday at around 4 PM."
While the circumstances surrounding their disappearance remain unclear, the situation highlights the urgent need for vigilance when it comes to the safety of children in the community.
In another distressing case, a separate search is ongoing for two teenage girls, Ava and Lexi, who went missing after purchasing train tickets in Spalding, Lincolnshire. Authorities believe they may have traveled to Cambridgeshire, but recent investigations suggest that they could potentially be hundreds of miles away in Cornwall.
Lincolnshire Police commented on the situation, indicating, "Ongoing investigations lead us to believe that the girls may be in Cornwall," noting that their behavior appears to be out of character for them. Ava and Lexi were first reported missing on February 5 and were last seen buying tickets at Spalding Train Station that same morning.
Descriptions of the girls have been provided to aid in their identification: Ava might be wearing glasses, a black Zanetti jacket, grey fitted bottoms, red, black and white trainers, and she is likely carrying a grey backpack. Lexi may be dressed in a black jacket with KWD on the breast pocket, tight black bottoms, white trainers, and possibly a Marvel backpack featuring Captain America.
The police have urged anyone with information regarding their whereabouts to contact them via the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident number 400 of 5/2/26.
In addition to these cases, Lincolnshire Police have also issued an update concerning a woman named Natalia, who was last seen walking in the Sluice Bridge area of Boston on January 23. They released CCTV footage of a man they wish to speak with, clarifying that he is not considered a suspect, but may hold crucial information regarding Natalia's movements that evening.
Officers previously described Natalia as being in her mid-forties, with long blonde hair, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall (around 170 cm), and of medium build. Being Ukrainian, she has a distinctive scar above her eyebrows and is known to often wear dark clothing.
