KSI Turns Down $30 Million to Fight Jake Paul: 'I'm Done with Boxing' (2026)

The boxing world is buzzing: KSI, Jake Paul's long-time rival, has reportedly walked away from a staggering $30 million offer to fight Paul! But why? Let's dive in.

Following his recent loss to Anthony Joshua, Jake Paul is currently sidelined from boxing due to injuries sustained in that brutal knockout. Many boxing analysts felt Paul took on too much, too soon, stepping up significantly in competition.

One of Paul's potential future opponents, Francis Ngannou, is also out of the picture, having also been stopped by Joshua.

It seemed inevitable that KSI and Jake Paul would eventually face off. However, KSI has now stated he's turned down massive offers to step into the ring with 'The Problem Child'.

So, why the rejection?

KSI, who previously mocked Paul's loss to Joshua, explained that he's simply 'done' with pursuing the matchup. Their past fights with Logan Paul sparked a surge of interest in this particular sector of boxing.

KSI and Paul were arguably the biggest names to emerge from this scene, but their careers took different paths, making a potential clash difficult.

KSI claims that he's turned down an incredible $30 million offer for the fight.

"These guys can’t give me any amount of money to fight this guy," he stated. "When it comes to boxing, I’m done. I tried. My main goal when I got into the boxing ring again was to fight Jake Paul and build Misfits. I built Misfits, tried to fight Jake Paul time and time and time again, just excuse after excuse after excuse.ā€

KSI's last fight was against Tommy Fury in October 2023. KSI stated that Paul's decision to fight Nate Diaz and keep fighting at higher weight classes was the final straw.

"Instead of Tommy Fury, I was there ready to fight Jake Paul,ā€ he continued. ā€œI was ready. I was there, let’s go, and instead he fought Nate Diaz and at that point I had to fight Tommy Fury.ā€

But here's where it gets controversial...

KSI also revealed the toll that the 'fight game' took on him.

He confessed that he felt pressured to adopt a persona to sell fights, which he ultimately found draining.

ā€œFor me, I don’t want to do that. I felt like I had to when I was boxing,ā€ he admitted. ā€œI felt like I had to be ā€˜The Nightmare’ and with that, to sell a fight, you have to do stuff to get people to want to watch. You have to find ways to bring that emotion out of people and I did some horrible things when I was doing the whole boxing thing but that’s just the fight game and I didn’t enjoy it. Didn’t like it.ā€

And this is the part most people miss...

KSI's reflection highlights the darker side of the sport, where manufactured rivalries and exaggerated personas often take center stage.
