'American Pie' Star Openly Discusses a Possible Return
The 1999 comedy film 'American Pie' launched Jason Biggs into stardom, and after years away from the franchise, he recently shared his thoughts on a potential fifth installment. In an interview for his upcoming movie 'Untitled Home Invasion Romance', Biggs was asked about his interest in returning to the 'American Pie' universe.
'Yes, I would love to,' Biggs exclaimed. 'I would love to direct a new movie or star in one.'
But here's where it gets interesting. Despite his enthusiasm, Biggs acknowledges the challenges of directing a big-budget studio comedy. 'I love the money,' he jokes, 'and 'Untitled Home Invasion Romance' isn't taking me to the bank.'
So, what's the catch? Biggs' passion for directing takes center stage. 'I just want to be able to direct, ' despite the challenges, **' I had an amazing time, particularly working with the actors.'
The 'American Pie' film series, which began in 1999, featured a stellar cast, including Biggs, Shannon Elizabeth, Thomas Ian Nicholas, and many others.
